Sigh, Austin traffic. Well, forewarned is forearmed. From the City of Austin:

Friday, May 20 at 9:00 p.m. through Monday, May 23 at 5:00 a.m.

Lane and ramp closures on northbound MoPac between Braker Lane and Parmer Lane to facilitate milling and applying permeable friction course (PFC) asphalt. Travel impacts should be expected.

Northbound MoPac will be temporarily reduced to two lanes between Braker Lane and Parmer Lane, and traffic will be temporarily shifted left into the future Express Lanes over the weekend.

The following northbound MoPac entrance and exit ramps will be closed:

o   Entrance ramp from Braker Lane
o   Exit ramp to Duval Road
o   Entrance ramp from Domain Boulevard
o   Entrance ramp from Duval Road/Gracy Farms Lane
o   Exit ramp to Parmer Lane

Friday, May 20 at 11:00 p.m. through Saturday, May 21 at 7:00 a.m.

A single main lane will be closed on northbound MoPac for a short distance near Enfield Road where a temporary s-curve realignment is already in place. This closure is needed for concrete placement.

Sunday at 8 p.m.  through Monday at 5 a.m.

A single main lane will be closed on southbound MoPac between Duval Road and US 183. This closure is needed to accommodate PFC paving.
